The Ponyhof Meier is a family business in the Sauerland in the third generation and is located on the outskirts of the climatic health resort of Eslohe. There are over 30 ponies on the farm, a riding hall, a large, covered saddle pad and a riding arena. The adults also feel at home here. This is ensured by the 90 square meter wellness area and the catering. The holiday farm of the Lanius-Heck family is located on a sunny high plateau above Oberwesel in the Unesco World Heritage Site “Upper Middle Rhine Valley” and operates a winery and farm (there are 40 cows, 20 pigs, various chickens, goats, rabbits and more). a riding school with 25 horses. It could hardly be more idyllic: Surrounded by meadow orchards, mixed forest, the Danube and its steep cliffs as well as the farm’s own meadows and rocks, the Käppeler estate is located in a listed building ensemble made of tuff sandstone with beaver tail roofs. Even the smallest basilica north of the Alps is located here. Horses, ponies, ducks, geese and rabbits are part of the farm, as are fallow deer in the outdoor enclosure.
