Guests are welcome to bring pets, boats, etc. There is no electricity but there is a generator.

3.Ruby Hill Cabin in the Adirondacks
We recently stayed at Ruby Hill Cabin in the Adirsakdaks during our trip to the beautiful region of New York state. If you love nature, hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, swimming, boating, biking, golfing, shopping, dining, wineries, breweries, distilleries, museums, art galleries, theater, festivals and much more – this is the place for you!
The Adirondack Park covers over 3 million acres and is home to some of the highest peaks east of the Rocky Mountains including Mount Marcy, Mount Van Hoevenberg, Mount Colden, Mount Ragged, Mount Horne, Mount Marcy, Mount Marcy, and Mount Taurus. There are over 2,500 miles of trails within the park and many of the hikes are short and easy enough for children.
You’ll find plenty of great restaurants nearby like the famous Blue Mountain Grill, plus many smaller eateries where you can enjoy local fare. You’ll also find lots of places to shop and a variety of unique stores selling everything from artsy gifts and antiques to clothing and sporting goods.
If you’d rather spend your days relaxing, you’ll find several excellent beaches nearby such as Keene Valley Beach, Saranac Lake, North Creek Beach, and Indian Lake Beach. Or you could go fishing, sailing, or kayaking on the lake or take a scenic drive along the Great Camps Highway which runs through the heart of the park.
If you’re looking for something different, check out the annual Adirondack Renaissance Festival held each summer in neighboring Queensbury. The festival includes live music, food vendors, craft booths, games, rides, and even an archery contest.

Our house was built in 1855 by the original owners who were farmers. They used the stone walls to store their crops and livestock. Today, the farm house has been restored to its original charm and beauty.
The main floor features a spacious open concept living room with cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, gas fireplace, and a wall of windows overlooking the pond. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, breakfast bar, and a walk-in pantry.
Upstairs, the master suite features a king size bed, sitting area, and private bath with a jetted tub. A second bedroom has two twin beds and a shared bath. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and shares a hall bath with the other bedrooms. All three rooms share access to a common porch.
4.The Fox Den on Honeoye Lake
Turtle Rock Hollow is nestled along the banks of Honeoye Creek near the village of Fish Creek in upstate New York. We offer a variety of accommodations including yurts, cabins, and tent camping sites. Our property features over 40 acres of woodlands, meadows, streams, ponds, and even a waterfall. Nestled within the woods are several hiking and biking trails. If you’re looking for something unique, Turtle Rock Hollow offers an opportunity to experience the outdoors while staying in one of our rustic accommodations.
5.Catskill’s Le Petite Cabine
Le Petite Cabine is located on the grounds of Smokey Belle Farm, a working farm offering horseback riding lessons, hayrides, petting zoo, and summer camps. This adorable cabin is just a short walk away from the main house where guests are welcomed with a glass of wine upon arrival.
The cabin sleeps four people comfortably and includes one bedroom with queen bed, full bath, and a small porch area off the master bedroom. There is also a second bedroom with twin beds and shared bathroom.
6.Charming Log Cabin in Ellicottville, NY
This adorable little log cabin sits tucked away in the woods in upstate New York. This quaint retreat features one loft bedroom with a queen bed, a second room with a full size bunkbed and a pullout sofa, a living area with seating for four, a kitchenette with a microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, sink, stovetop, and dishwasher, a bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity, and laundry facilities, plus a wood burning fireplace for chilly evenings.
