Downtown San Marcos

San Marcos is located along the Guadalupe River, just north of downtown Austin. It is home to many restaurants, shops, parks, museums, art galleries, theaters, and music venues. In addition to being one of the most popular tourist destinations in Central Texas, it is also known as the “River City.” This nickname refers to the fact that the river runs through the city, making it easy to navigate.

The area is divided into three sections: Northtown, Southtown, and Downtown. Northtown includes the neighborhoods of Eastside Village, Westgate, and Northgate. Southtown contains the areas of South Town Center, Hill Country Village, and Stone Oak Village. Downtown is the heart of the city and includes the historic district.

Rio Vista

San Marcos’ Rio Vista neighborhood is home not just to the city’s largest park, but also to the San Marcos River. This river runs along the entire length of the city, providing residents with access to fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and even tubing.

The neighborhood itself is also home to several parks, including Rio Vista Park, which offers visitors a place to relax and enjoy nature. There are also many trails throughout the area, allowing people to explore the surrounding countryside.

The Dunbar neighborhood has lots of things to do including Dunbar Park and the Calaboose African American Historical Museum. This historic neighborhood is located just north of downtown Louisville, Kentucky and is home to many restaurants, shops, bars and entertainment venues.

San Marcos Premium Outlets

San Marcos Premium Outlets offers shoppers everything from fashion and apparel to electronics and housewares. There are over 200 stores and restaurants located within the outlet mall. The shopping center is open every day except Monday and Tuesday.
