The Forest House boasts a 12 sided living room with floor-toh- ceiling windows, offering stunning views out over the rolling waters and green forests. There are four bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms and one bedroom with bunk beds.

Rolling Huts
Located just outside of Seattle, Washington, Rolling Huts offers visitors a chance to experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest without sacrificing comfort. Captain Whidbey in Coupeville
Coupeville, Washington is a small town located on Puget Sound just north of Seattle. With a population of about 3,500 people, it’s best known for being home to the Coupeville Hotel, one of the most famous hotels in America.
The Coupeville Hotel opened in 1902 and quickly became a popular destination among celebrities and politicians. President Theodore Roosevelt once stayed here while he was campaigning for president. Other guests include Clark Gable and Carole Lombard, who married here in 1939.
In addition to the Coupeville, the area is also home to the Fort Worden Historic District, which includes a number of buildings dating back to World War II.

Underground Hobbit Home in Columbia River Gorge
This quaint little home sits high above the Columbia River Gorge, overlooking the beautiful Cascade Mountains. Guests are greeted inside a small entryway with a slanted ceiling and stone walls. A staircase leads down into a snug space where guests will find a queen bed, a wood burning stove, and a large bathroom with a claw foot tub. Upstairs, there is another bedroom with twin beds and a shared full bath. In addition to the main house, there is also a separate guesthouse with a loft sleeping area and a kitchenette.
The property features a large deck off the master bedroom, which overlooks the gorge and provides a great place for morning coffee. The Cave in Leavenworth
This might not be the Batcave but it sure is one the best places to stay if you’re looking for some prehistoric and unique accommodations in Washington. Located in Leavenworth, The Cave is situated in a cavern offering a large hot tub that seats up ten people, along with its two bedrooms, each sleeping five people. There are many amenities to enjoy including a fully equipped kitchen available to guests to use and the whole space although in a cave is surprisingly modern with exposed rocks walls. Outside there is a picnic table and ping pong table, while inside there is a fireplace and a gondola that takes you out into Whistler! At night, guests can relax in front of the fireplace and watch the flames dance.
Treehouse in the Columbia River Gorge
The Osprey Treehouse is a 20-foot octagon built into the side of a giant Douglas fir tree. Guests can access it via ladder, rope, or zip line. There are no stairs inside — just a cozy bed, a bathroom, and a kitchenette.
Down on the ground, guests are surrounded by waterfalls, rivers, lakes, and mountains. They can sail, paddleboard, kayak, hike, mountain bike, picnic, and even swim in the river. In the summer, there is a private beach and a swim dock where you can cool off.

The Lookout is another of our favorite picks for cool treehouses in Washington. This cozy retreat is located near Mount Baker and offers guests a chance to experience nature up close. Guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the comfort of this charming little cabin. There is no electricity or running water inside, but there is Wi-Fi, a fridge, a microwave, and a gas stove.
The Lookout is a small, modern, and private room nestled among the trees on the side a Chuckanut Mountain. Its location is ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat away from it all. The room features a queen size bed, a sofa bed for two people, a glass window, and a flat screen TV. A large picture window overlooks the surrounding forest.
Guests can relax in the hot tub out front or take advantage of the nearby hiking trails. To reach the Lookout, you must hike about 10 minutes along a trail that runs alongside the road. You can park in the Chuckanut Mountain parking lot and walk over.
Adorable Lake Union Houseboat Rental
This adorable floating home is located on Lake Union in Seattle, WA. There are lots of fun things to do around Seattle, including hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, and exploring the Puget Sound. If you want to see the best view of the city, head over to the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and Mount Rainier National Park.
The home itself is called Turnip and it features a Japanese design with bright colors, a large deck, and a rooftop where guests can sit and enjoy the amazing views of downtown Seattle. You can even take advantage of the outdoor shower while relaxing outside.
Inside there is plenty of space for a couple or a family of four. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals and host parties. Guests can relax on the couch in front of the TV or browse the bookshelves. In addition, there is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a laundry area with washing machine and dryer.

The Rolling Huts in Methow Valley
With a scenic location in the Metoh Valley, The Rolling Hut provides another one of the best place to stay Washington with beautiful mountains and forest views. Located just outside the town of Winthrop, WA, The Rolling Huts offer hikers, mountain bikers, cross-country skiers, and anyone looking for a quiet retreat a chance to relax.
Each hut sleeps four guests comfortably with a sleeping platform and modular furniture in the living area. Guests can enjoy the modern conveniences of electricity and free Wi-Fi while enjoying stunning views of Mount Baker, Lake Chelan, and the surrounding forests.
The Post Hotel
This cool Washington hotel has been on my radar since it opened. Its location overlooking the Waterfront Park and Wenatchee River puts it right next to some of Leavenworth’s best restaurants, yet it feels secluded.

Its draw, though, is the spa. In addition to indoor pools, the swimming complex has outdoor pools that overlook the scenic landscape of Washington. My skin is turning to prunes just thinking about soaking in the pools! I haven’t been here yet, but I can’t stop thinking about it!
The Davenport Hotel
Marriott’s Autograph Collection includes this 4-star historic hotel. This award-winning building is out of control beautiful, and I typically stay away from chains for more boutique hotels. The entire room features luxurious details such as ornate decorative molding, chandeliers, and funky wallpaper. The opulent lobby and dining room can be viewed from a wraparound balcony. Several of the best craft cocktails in the city can be found at the Peacock Lounge as well.
My favorite Spokane attractions are right outside this unique hotel in downtown Spokane.
Fort Worden
It is a state park that was once a defunct military base. Families of all sizes will enjoy the quirky accommodations on the property, but Alexanders Castle is a standout. Several of the park’s most popular trails are within walking distance.
The Sou’wester Lodge
There are several different accommodations at this resort, but vintage RV trailers are the most unique. The refurbished properties from the 50s and 60s have all the vintage charm you’d expect from the area, but they’re equipped with modern conveniences. Additionally, a thrift shop, tea trailer, gallery, and sauna are on the premises. Massages and other spa services are also available.
You can explore Cape Disappointment and Astoria on your way to explore the Oregon coast from the Sou’western, located at the southern tip of the Washington coast. For millenials, it has that camping-meets-hipster vibe of the Pacific Northwest.
Captain Whidbey Inn
This inn is nestled along the water on Whidbey Island, one of my favorite islands off Seattle. In order to create different types of rooms, the current owners worked with local tastemakers like Glasswing. There is something special about the hotels that make it a desirable Instagram spot.
A waterfront restaurant is also available on site. Sip Whidbey Island wine while enjoying the ambiance on the large deck.
Loge Camps
This hostel and RV resort offers a great view of the Pacific Ocean. In addition to renting a campsite, guests can stay in a traditional hotel room equipped with stylish furnishings. Public areas include grills, bonfires, and meals, as well as surfboards and kayaks for rent.
Cave B Inn
It is one of the best hotels in Washington wine country to stay at Cave B Winery, which is an award-winning winery in Yakima wine country. Yurts are available among the vineyards for the adventurous, while apartment pods and cave condos are available for the more traditional. Whatever you decide to do, you’ll have access to their beautiful grounds along the Columbia River, pool, spa, restaurant, winery, and winery. A great location for exploring Pacific Northwest wineries is also available.
Manresa Castle
Some of the best attractions along the Washington coast can be found near a castle on the Olympic Peninsula. A quaint Victorian town with boutiques and historic architecture, Port Townsend is home to this charming hotel. Early Port Townsend businessmen built the castle in 1892. Modern amenities have been added without sacrificing its charm.
This restaurant has three different concepts, for instance. The Green Room is a speakeasy-style cocktail bar, The Rook a tapas restaurant, and The Elephant Room a sports bar.
