How does the city tour work?

The city tour is a popular choice among tourists because it offers them a chance to explore parts of Dubai that are usually closed to visitors. This includes the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Marina, Creek, Al Fahidi Fort, Souk al Bahi, Gold Souq, Madinat Jumeirah, Deira City Centre, Dubai Museum, Dubai International Financial Center, etc.

You start off the tour by boarding a double decker bus/minivan that leaves you at the starting point of the tour. From there, you will travel around the city while being entertained by the live commentary of the guide. Along the way, you will stop at different points of interest such as shopping malls, museums, historical landmarks, etc. During your journey, you will learn interesting facts about each location that you pass by.

As the tour comes to an ending, you are dropped off back at the starting point from where the tour began.

Best time to visit

The best time to visit the city of Dubai is definitely in the winter season from the month of November to around April due to low temperatures and pleasant weather conditions. During this period, visitors are able to enjoy the cool breeze while walking along the beachfront promenade. Tourists can also find plenty of activities such as shopping, dining, sightseeing and entertainment options. However, it is important to note that the days are shorter and nights are longer during the cold season. You might also face some inconveniences like less sunlight and increased rainfall. Therefore, it is advisable to carry enough clothes and accessories to protect yourself from the harsh weather.

Dubai Shopping Festival

This event is specially organized by Dubai Tourism Board to facilitate tourist influx to Dubai. The festival runs from the 18th till the 24th of January every year. Visitors are treated to a variety of events including fashion shows, concerts, food festivals, art exhibitions, fireworks displays, etc. In addition to the above mentioned events, there are many exciting things to do in Dubai throughout the entire duration of the festival. For instance, the Burj Khalifa tower lights up at night, and the world famous Dubai Fountain becomes illuminated. If you are planning to visit Dubai during the festival, make sure you book your hotel rooms well in advance because hotels fill up very quickly. Moreover, it is recommended to avoid traveling on Friday as most museums and attractions remain closed on this day.

Travel

When you plan a trip to Dubai, it’s important to make sure you’re getting the best deal possible. You don’t want to spend money unnecessarily. So what are some things you should consider before booking tickets? Here are three tips to help you save money while traveling.

1. Consider flying out of a hub airport. If you live close enough to the destination city, why pay for a long layover? Instead, fly into one of the major airports near the city center. For example, if you’re flying from Los Angeles to London, book a ticket out of LAX. If you’re flying from Chicago to Tokyo, book a ticket out from O’Hare International Airport.

2. Booking a hotel room well in advance. Hotels often offer discounts for reservations made far ahead of time. Check online to see if there are any deals available on hotels around the date you want to travel. Also, look for special promotions offered by certain hotels. Some hotels offer free nights for every night booked up to six months in advance.

3. Look for airline miles. Airlines like American Express give points to customers based on how much they spend. For example, American Express Platinum card members receive 5x the number of elite qualifying miles per dollar spent on travel compared to standard cards. These miles can be redeemed for free trips. However, keep in mind that this perk only applies to domestic flights; international fares are non-refundable.

Atmosphere in Dubai

Reviewed: A Luxury Dining Experience At Burj Khalifa”

I’m not sure why I didn’t know about this restaurant sooner. It opened earlier this month, but it feels like it’s been around forever. The menu is full of delicious options, and the prices aren’t too outrageous either. If you’re looking for something different, you’ll definitely want to check out this place.

I had the chance to visit the restaurant last week, and I was impressed with how spacious it felt. The decor is modern and sleek, and the staff were very friendly. They made me feel right at home.

The atmosphere was perfect for enjoying my meal. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by a warm welcome. We sat down at one of the booths, which gave us plenty of space to spread out our napkins and silverware.

We started off with a few appetizers. My favorite was the smoked salmon and avocado toast. It came with a side of crispy potatoes that tasted just like potato chips. The dish was topped with creamy avocado and sliced strawberries, and it was absolutely delicious!

Records

Walton Street Most Wins By An Owner

The most successful horse trainer in history, Godolphin Racing, has won 12 races out of 16 attempts since 1998. They are the second most successful trainers behind Sheikh Mohammed’s Darley stable.

Godolphin Racing’s success has been achieved despite having no connections to racing’s biggest names. Their horses are trained by Saeed Bin Suroor, one of the sport’s best trainers, who has worked with some of the world’s greatest jockeys including Frankie Dettori and John Gosden.

In contrast, Dubai World Cup winner Golden Horn, ridden by Christophe Lemaire, had connections to three different owners. He was owned by the Aga Khan III, by Michael Tabori, and by Sheikh Mohammed himself.

Winner Of The Dubai City Of Gold

Sheikh Mohammed’s Darleys became the first team to win the Dubai City of Gold twice in succession. In doing so, he broke the record set by American Pharoah, who won it in 2016 and 2017.

Darley’s first victory came in 2001 when his colt Al Maktoum won the race over 1000 meters. His son, Ruler of the Desert, went on to become champion in 2006.
